Person wearing glasses and a "Beirut" hoodie in a room with framed pictures on purple walls.

My name is Chris Chedrawi.

pronounced Shed-raw-we or Shed-reh-we

American-Lebanese writer, Boston local, and proud dog dad. I grew up in Lebanon and have been writing stories since I was 15—though these days, my focus is gay Arab fantasy. Why? Because kid me would’ve killed to see characters like us in the books I loved.

I’ve dabbled in everything from sci-fi to screenwriting (original pilots, spec scripts—you name it), but fantasy novels centering queer Arab voices are where my heart is now. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me:

☕️ Chugging a black iced coffee at a Newbury St café
🎮 Gaming
📚 Hunting for books at local shops
📺 Binge-watching shows with my husband (aka husbibi)
✨ Volunteering with Boston Gaymers for LGBTQ+ events

Let’s connect over fantasy, Arab representation, or your favorite Boston bookstore!
